Hello! My name is Michelle, and I’m thrilled to be your Lifestyle Events Animator. I launched this pilot project because I recognized that my skills as an animator and many other talents could bring immense value to residents in my immediate area. I used to volunteer a lot at local residences as a child so chances are you've seen a mini version of this face running around! Having now witnessed my retired loved ones seeking meaningful activities and craving a balance between routine and novelty, I was inspired to create a program that combines comforting consistency with exciting new experiences. With years of personal and professional caregiving experience, including my work with the Red Cross, I bring a deep understanding of care and compassion to everything I do. I’ve have the privilege of caring for my father, who requires memory care and daily assistance. Finding creative solutions to challenges and bringing joy to his everyday life has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my journey as a caregiver. In addition to my caregiving background, I also have teaching experience and hold certifications for specialized care for individuals with special needs. For those interested in live animal shows, I’m fully certified by the CCAC and CFIA for ethical animal use, ensuring safety and care every step of the way. I’m passionate about creating an enriching and safe environment for all, and I can’t wait to bring energy, creativity, and care to your community!
